Indeed as our travel based activities here have given us a much better overall view of New Mexico, we are ever aware of what a large and dynamic state it is, and how varied it's culture, activities and economy has become.

This North Central New Mexico, or Georgia O'Keeffe Country is our home base!

I took the haunting photograph, below, just after sunset a few years ago. It is Cerro Pedernal, New Mexico's famous flat topped mountain ..immortalized by Georgia O'Keeffe. She loved it, painted it many times  ..and her ashes spread from it upon her death. We get hundreds of sunsets just like that one ..every year!  d
