My wife, Gabriela and I, have been shooting the High Desert of North Central New Mexico about 5 1/2 years. Here are some of the more memorable times/shots:

A couple from Taos: Rio Grande Gorge perhaps 700 ft deep and Sunset From Taos looking over our mesa some 50 miles in the distance

Brazos Cliffs Near Chama-2,000 Granite

Rio Chama looking North toward the Dam and South toward our place..about 10 miles away:

Ghost Ranch-Kitchen Mesa-We chose this as the masthead on our website:

Rock formation Near Ghost Ranch and a Canyon at Ghost Ranch:

..If ya wanna see a Diamondback Rattler ..the above Canyon is where to go in summer.
Major escarpments of color headed down from Los Alamos and Black Mesa at the Bottom on the Santa Clara Reservation:

Rio Chama Running thru Abiquiu and the landmark Red Rock formation crowning Abiquiu:

There are MAJOR day hikes and excursions at all of the locations above! Spring-Summer-Fall the best times for these activities.
