Indian Market is a BIG DEAL here in Santa Fe!

Held this past weekend, the level of participation is staggering with a dozen square blocks and over 1,000 booths and thousands of participants ...then add a glorious summer day and you have a major crowd for this, 2010 festivities! If you're Santa Fean..chances are good..you were there. If not...be sure, one day, to be here for the event!

 Santa Fe Plaza

Held every August since 1922 and next to The Gathering of Nations, the Indian Market in Santa Fe comprises the largest 'gathering' of Native talent in one place in New Mexico and possibly the whole US!

Held on the Plaza and surrounding avenues, there are a thousand official exhibitors representing nearly every peoples from Florida to Alaska!

Each August for the past eighty years, Santa Fe Indian Market has brought together the most gifted Native American artists from the U.S. with millions of visitors and collectors from around the world. The extended weekend of beauty and celebration ranks as the world's largest and most highly acclaimed Native American arts show and as New Mexico's largest attended annual weekend event.

Santa Fe Indian Market is widely known as the place where Native American art and culture meets the world. As a primary vehicle for showcasing Native American arts, Indian Market also serves as a principal means for advancing the careers of many of today's noted American Indian
 artists.
