Canyon Road Art Walk, kickoff June 22nd this Summer, was the perfect launch pad for our Featured Galleries page! Branded "The Anonymous Crickets", our voters visited and rated 11 finalist galleries in the allotted 5-7pm 'walk'. We were virtually running!
We
had 3 voters fall by the wayside ..anchoring! But that left 4 exuberant
Crickets!..all collectors, sponsors & artists alike!!
I
simply took an average of the individual scores, with a gallery needing
at least 2 scorings to be eligible. Don't laugh..2 among us forgot to
score Beals & Abbate Fine Art! I'll leave those two anonymous,
however it was fortuitous that Melissa and I gave him a resounding 3
plus comments! The words were spoken ..BUT.."a pencil never forgets".

Great Opening with Bronze Sculptor John Maisano.
We particularly loved his Coyote and his back East, Italian American story. Owner, Bobby Beals really put on a show for his opening AND the Art Walk, and was responsible for the 'traffic jam' of customers for blocks on Canyon Road.
We saw no principle older than 40 years, and this youthful exuberance translated through their featured artists and gallery presentation. This reception, opening and Art Walk included a jazz ensemble and a fine catered list.
Bobby Beals know how to do gallery!
Fun!
