Cool Summer Days-Cold Summer Nights!
The Manzano Mountains are South of the Sandia's. At the Capilla Peak and at about 9,200 Ft Elevation ..the days are cool..and the nights even cooler. You need to prepare for this, even in Summer months.
It's the Mountainair District of the Cibola National Forest:
